What you pay each month

There are three membership tiers. The monthly contribution is the number that matters most, because it is what leaves your account every month and what builds your travel budget. The one-time activation applies only to the two higher tiers.

The one-time activation, explained

Two of the three tiers — Classic and Premium — carry a one-time activation in addition to the monthly contribution. Starter has none, which is why it is the lowest barrier to entry. The activation is a single charge, not a recurring one, and the exact amount is shown to you on the official platform before you confirm. We don’t quote an activation figure here that you can’t verify at the point of sale — you’ll see it in writing before anything is charged.

How the Reward Points math works (2:1, not cash)

This is where most cost questions really live. For every $1 of membership contribution you receive 2 Reward Points. Inside the inCruises system, 1 Reward Point equals $1 of booking credit. So the contribution isn’t only a fee — a large part of it converts into a travel budget you spend on real trips.

Put in annual terms:

  • Starter — $600 in contributions a year → about 1,200 Reward Points.
  • Classic — $1,200 a year → about 2,400 Reward Points.
  • Premium — $3,000 a year → about 6,000 Reward Points.

The honest limits matter as much as the numbers. Reward Points are not cash, not an investment and not transferable. They can’t be paid out; they are redeemable only for bookings inside the inCruises system. After activation, a short waiting period of 15 days applies before you book with them. Treat them as travel budget, not a savings account — that is the only framing that keeps the cost honest.

The Insider Pricing side of the value

Alongside the points, every tier includes Insider Pricing: member rates that aren’t shown on public booking sites. There is no fixed percentage off — you compare the member price against the public price yourself, before each booking, and the saving varies by trip, date and availability. That is deliberately not a promise of “X% cheaper”; it is a genuine member rate you verify for yourself.

Your safety net if you change your mind

The cost carries two structural protections. A 14-day right of withdrawal applies to eligible payments under the official membership agreement. And Trust My Travel protects unused membership contributions should inCruises ever cease trading — activation fees are not covered, and we say so plainly. Neither is a promise of savings; both simply mean the money side is transparent.

Who it’s worth it for — and who it isn’t

✔ Worth it if you…

  • travel two to three times a year or more;
  • will actually redeem your Reward Points on real trips;
  • like comparing prices and booking with planning discipline.

⚠ Think twice if you…

  • travel less than once a year;
  • won’t log in to redeem the travel budget you build;
  • expect the monthly contribution to pay for itself in month one.

The maths is simple in the end: the membership is worth its cost when the Reward Points and member rates you actually use exceed what you pay in. For a frequent traveller that is realistic; for someone who rarely travels it is not. If you’re weighing whether the model itself is sound, our honest “is it legit?” analysis goes deeper, and you can compare the three tiers side by side at your own pace.
